History
"This is my own personally adapted and developed garlic over the past 12 years. I got the start from a local Wisconsin friend--he didn't know the name. It's a beautiful stiffneck --producing 4-6 large white cloves per bulb that are easy peeling. It keeps well and is a good basic garlicky taste. I call it Gazebo Grande (I used to dry my garlic in an outdoor Gazebo). I will offer it in the 2007 catalog, but would be happy to supply it to you now, if you want it. Although I trialed many other kinds of stiffneck this year, Gazebo Grande, would still be my #1 choice for size, beauty in the garden, and marketability. I have planted it at 3 different farms in Wisconsin--all with different soils and micro-climates, and it has done well in all."
